So. Can ya' stand just one more Valentine?
Most of the time I have a mental image of how I want something to look when finished. Not the case with this. All I knew from the get-go was that I wanted to use the damask image. And, this was the end result.
I like it! It's kind of "eclectically" sweet. I wonder if that makes sense to anyone but me . . . *insert rolling eyeballs* Embossed a scrap of our red paper with an embossing folder and then punched it out, and sanded it to make the embossing more pronounced--I just adore that funky heart by Fiskars--it's got just the right amount of wonky imperfection!
And the little flower punched from petite gingham is so dainty. Of all the patterned papers we've done so far, I think the gingham is my favorite. Gingham just reeks of sunshine and happy, UKWIM?
Love that little button pop of celery green! It's teeny, to be sure, but it had to be done; I threaded the button with some chocolate colored twine. Cuz, well, that's the rule 'round this palace: NEVER LEAVE YER BUTTONS NEKKED.
