Shift happens. *wink*
For the past three years, I've had the extremely good fortune to be a part of something truly phenomenal:
It has been an honor to have served as the Dirty Dozen Design Team Coordinator and an Administrative Team Member for the site. I have had the bestest, most marvelous time, working behind the scenes with the Noltas, Jenn, Beate, Sara, Lori, and The Wonder Mods, as Splitcoast has grown and developed into what it is today:
The largest, most fan-tas-magorical stamping community on the world wide web! ![]()
It has also been a tremendous privilege to work with the Dirty Dozen Designers Current & Alumni, extraordinary individuals and among the most gifted art-stampers I have ever encountered! It has given me the greatest joy to showcase their work to the Fan Club Members of Splitcoast, every month, over the past three years.
The planets have aligned in a new direction for me very recently. . . As many of you already know, I have worked with A Muse Artstamps for the last five years, doing concept design work and in other capacities. This wonderful stamp company has also grown and I am now thrilled and excited to have an opportunity to work for them in a full-time position!
In doing so, however, it is only appropriate that I step down from the Splitcoast Design Team Coordinator position and SCS Administrative Team, which will open up the opportunity for someone else to contribute to the evolution of this remarkable place.
It doesn't mean I'm goin' ![]()
I will always be an active SCS community member
<---- me, and an avid supporter.
I just won't have an SCS "cape" any more. ![]()
I'm thankful, more than I can express in words, to the Noltas for giving me an opportunity to be part of the SCS Team. I am grateful that the individuals I have had the honor of working with on SCS are so much more than colleagues, but, dearly loved friends, who have supported and encouraged me as I shift into this new direction, career-wise. And, I am so appreciative of all the enthusiasm and love that has been extended to me by so many SCSers and Fan Club Members, during my time as the Coordinator.
Thank you ever muchly!

Congrats on your new position! Thanks so much for all your work with Splitcoast and helping it become what it is today! Hope to continue to see your fun posts and smileys in the forums!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your designs and looking forward to seeing more of them with A Muse! I sure wished I discovered you and SCS more than a month before I moved out of Washington State...maybe I could have taken a class! Well, maybe I'll make it back out that way sometime. All the best.

Honestly, if you're happy, I'm happy! I will miss you on SCS, but I think this is a wonderful opportunity for you and I'm glad you are taking it. I owe a great deal of my stamping to success to SCS, and you have been a big part of that. Thank you, and good luck.

Julie~
I have been a stalker of your blog, an admirer of your work for so long and I just think SCS has become partly what it is today due to you. Thank you for giving so much to make other's go "wow" and while it breaks my heart that you won't be one of the captains at the helm anymore...I'm SOOOO excited for your new adventure!! Congratulations!!

Wow, Julie -- congratulations on the F/T gig with A Muse! Linda is one smart cookie, and I can't wait to see the AMAZING influence your *full-time* energies are bound to have on that already wonderful company! Still, I know SCS will have a hard time filling your shoes (even though you're such an itty-bitty lil thing! ;) ). You're a big part of what "sucked me in" to becoming such an avid stamper and SCSer, and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know your SCS colleagues are going to miss you like crazy (Jenn's blog post made me teary!), but I know all of us 'civilians' will be glad to see you at the playground. {{{{{Julie!!!}}}}}
