Natasha Trupp has a penchant for keeping things beautifully clean while simultaneously uncomplicated and striking. I was very excited when she started the Clean & Simple Blog--it's a wonderful resource for those who love this particular refreshing style.
I wanted to try the above layout, C & S FTL79
For some reason, I got my proportions "off", and this threw off the balance. I tried to resolve it by adding a button, rather than scrapping the whole card and starting over. I'm not entirely pleased with it, but somehow I just don't think my Mom will notice that. *grin*
I did a lot of felt die cutting this weekend, but didn't actually complete a project with it; I figured projects I wanted to try would go a lot faster if I had lots of felt pre-cut and ready to go, and I'm hoping to actually MAKE something this week. LOL!
Happy Monday to ya'!
