Can I tell you a secret? This card started out with a landscape/horizontal format. It did not look quite right.
I was gonna leave it. I really was. Cuz it wasn't all that bad. But, ya' know how things nag at you . . . and ya' can't sleep at night cuz ya' know zacly what needs done to fix it?
Yeaaaaah. I did not wanna be lying in bed at 2 am, cursing the fact that I did not fix it . . .
So, I butchered the original. Pulled off the flowers, cut away the entire border piece with the tab, lace & all. And. whacked off the right end of it. Made a new base card, re-stamped Bursting Blooms, and faster than you can say, "Bob's yer uncle!" I had the rest of it all re-done.
Notice anything unusual?
Golly gee, have I ever been known to put so many Pearls or Twinkles on one project???!!! I KNOW!!! (best Monica voice)
OK. So, here's the story: I had a couple of nearly used up packages with random sizes of pearls left, so I decided to gob them onto the flower centers. Well, mebbe this is not "gobs" by other peep's standards, but by mine, it is a considerably excessive use of Pearls.
Considerably.
You are proud of me, aren't ya'?
