I think I'd mentioned the other day that I'd made 2 cards from the Just Because set. This is #2. I have a feeling there will be many more, cuz I *really* love this set! I did pull the sentiment from another set, tho (Graphic Sunflower), cuz I wanted a very contemporary font for the greeting.
I am LIKIN' Lichen! *chortle* Seriously, tho, it's an awesome shade of green! I love using it in conjunction with Fern! I stamped the Mesh background with Versamark onto a panel of Kraft card stock, and then overstamped the leafy thingy with Lichen, and then again with Fern, to get the whole overall effect.
I wanted some tiny flowers on the leafy thingy, so I just snipped a few from our Tiny Flower Ribbon (Sugar) and glued those on. Then, it seemed like some French Roast Pearl Stickers would look good in the centers, so on those went. Die cut the butterfly from vellum card stock. The different 3D mounted layers add some interest.
This was another one of those BOOYAH (turned out on the first try) designs! Oh, yes, more of those, please!
