Super, and I mean SUPER busy getting ready for class to start Monday so I only have time for a quick share today--realized I had forgotten to show this little gem off that I also made at the retreat last month. Could this *be* any easier?! (best Chandler Bing voice)
Just dabbed some Memento Dew Drops against an acrylic block, and picked up the color with my water brush and slopped some stripes of color down to make a rainbow on some smooth watercolor paper (similar to my smooth Bristol I love so much) my buddy Lisa and I found at Archiver's that day.
Stamped the darling bike with Archival Jet Black, added a little strip of Washi tape and mounted it to a plain white card front. This one's a 4 bar note card (3.5 x 5"). I coulda' made a boat load of these, I do declare! I borrowed the sentiment at the retreat, so I don't have a source for it.
Oh, and BTW, you might wanna take note of this: Apparently, if you tag or categorize a creation like this as a "5 minute quickie", those "sex hotline" companies will contact you via email and ask that you remove it. Because you're infringing on their trademark.
