And so it went. My mojo. Gone. Hopefully, it will find its way back home soon.
Meantime, here is a card I made a while back and forgot to share. And, it's kind of apropros, considering that my mojo is on the lam. If you spot it, tell it to go home. *snort* Deep thoughts further on down the line. OK, not overly deep.
Every once in a while, especially on a particularly simple design, I like to have a little tiny window down in the lower right corner of a card with something sweet peeking out. In this case, a tiny heart that's been popped up and coated with Glossy Accents.
Then, when you open the card, it's still there. :)
I was wishing I had a BIG alphabet for the inside of my card to stamp "OK", and then I remembered I had this old (and probably long retired) Cuttlebug alphabet (I think it's called Red Tag Sale?) so I just die cut the letters I needed.
I've had one of those extraordinarily unproductive weeks in the creative department and it finally hit me why... something Ali Edwards had written about recently (in "52 Creative Lifts"?) that reminded me of something that's always been true for me--sometimes you need to quit looking at what everybody else is doing. I've been spending a lot of time in online galleries, admiring lots of different works. Don't get me wrong--that's not a bad thing! But, I know me well enough to know what happens when I do too much of that; my senses become over-loaded and the creative side of my brain gets "bewildered".
Time to get outta' da' house! :)
Have a gooder!
